Rosemarie’s initial training in Product Design at Carlow Institute of Technology gave her a strong understanding of the value of good modelmaking for marketing, engineering and display purposes. Having developed this interest at college, she completed her training at Kilkenny Design Workshops by 1987 and has since been working full time producing models for industry.

Rosemarie has broad experience of different types of modelmaking, including ergonomic mock-ups, non-working models replicating appearance, to dimensionally precise representations of injection-moulded assemblies which allow evaluation of pre-production assemblies. She has also made scale models for exhibition and display purposes, and applied her finishing skills to computer generated models to make them both attractive and convincing.
